For November at The Alley Gallery and Art Studios, we are excited to present Guest Artist, Simone White and her show, Meet Me In The Mountains. Please stop in to see Simone’s paintings at The Alley (729 Lincoln Ave, alley entrance), around the corner from the 8th Street Steakhouse, opening Friday Nov. 7th, 5-8 pm during ArtWalk and showing through Nov. 22.

"This collection is a reflection of the place I’m grateful to call home. Mountain life is woven into every piece, the winding valleys, shifting light, and jagged peaks. These works draw inspiration from landscapes across Colorado, from the high passes of Leadville to the open meadows of Walden. Each piece is rooted in the feeling of belonging the mountains offer. Through this work, I hope to share that sense of home, warmth, and welcome - the comfort I find each and every day living in the mountains.” - Simone White

Bio:

Simone White is a printmaker and watercolor artist based in Northwest Colorado. Raised in ski towns and deeply rooted in mountain life, her work is inspired by years spent skiing, hiking, biking, paddling, and exploring the natural beauty of the Rockies. Known for her vivid colors, Simone’s work explores the emotional connection between people and place. Her goal is to celebrate the privilege of living among breathtaking scenery and to inspire others to connect with the outdoors through art.
