Originally from Mexico City, Paulina M. Johnson has been immersed in the fields of art and design for over 20 years. She received a joint BFA from the Academy of Art and the University of San Francisco in 1999. In 2017, she earned an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Paulina’s work is rooted in a minimalist design aesthetic and a genuine love of paper. Inspired by nature, she explores how paper strips adhered on their edges interact with their surroundings, leveraging the life and movement brought about within the 3-D world of light and shadows.
