The Eco Art Collective

New Beginnings, oil painting by Sloane Speer

January 2026 at The Alley Gallery and Art Studios brings together a group of Yampa Valley artists motivated by environmental issues. Their diverse collection of artwork is inspired by our western landscape, wildlife, forests, public lands, water, and wildfire. These artists, concerned by climate change, are starting a new group, the Eco Art Collective. Each member is dedicated to communicating important topics through their art and daily choices. Members of the collective will be supporting and amplifying each other and the ongoing work around climate change and protecting our environment.

Beginning in March during Insight: Art for Climate Action organized by Western Resilience Center, the Eco Art Collective will be inviting any interested creatives in the region to join in this supportive group.

For now, come to The Alley Gallery and Art Studios during ArtWalk, Friday January 2, 5-8 pm to see the group show. The Alley is in downtown Steamboat Springs, around the corner from the 8th St Steakhouse. The Eco Art Collective group show will be hanging through the month of January, open 11-5, Wednesdays through Saturdays.
